I have a confession. I've never been to a concert before. I've always been short on money, and always missed my favourite bands. But this year is different, I refused to take no for an answer and my Mum has offered to buy me Stone Sour tickets for 27th of October in Manchester, UK.

One my life goals is to meet Corey Taylor, a lot my friends know I see him as a role model and I've always just wanted to meet him. Even if it's a quick handshake to a picture. Just, I don't know you do meet band members. I don't want to evade his personal space or something you know. Thats unfair and selfish of me, but odviously there is ways to meet celebrities, I just never had the privledge to meet anyone higher than a footballer from my town. So could anyway give me some advice? I cannot find any backstage VIP tickets on the website to order or anything so I'm confused. Is it just luck to run into him?

I have that same I wish.....I've met some bands before and even been in a music video before. But my Idol is COREY TAYLOR. I would trade all what I've seen and done to just meet him. I hope soon there is a fanclub with Meet and Greets because I really wanna meet him this year.

In my experience its kind of a "run into them" type of thing. a good idea if you're really desperate to meet them is hang out by the fence where ever the buses are after the show, or hope that they do a "meet-n-greet" contest on here

I'm no good at contests, damn it. Yeah, might have to do the fence thing and fingers crossed he has the time to say hi. I've heard he's super fan friendly and seen it on videos, so you know. If you find him, you get a good chance of getting a quick chat with him, or atleast a photo. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for a contest, although I never win them kinda things. lol >.

I've met Brian and John from Shadows Fall. All ya gotta do is walk up to em, ask for an autograph and a pic. It's simple as that. Most bands enjoy doing stuff like that for fans. Just walk up, and start talking man, simple as that. My goal is to meet Jim, hopefully I will this August at Uproar, if no, the concert will still be epic.

I hope you'll manage to fulfill your dream Jizzy. I met all the stone sour members in Bordeaux (france) three years ago, and Corey stayed like an hour and a half with us before the show. It was a very small concert hall so maybe that's the reason they took some time with us. And yes, Corey is adorable, so down to earth and close to his fans. he a great man. I think you can't plan to live these kind of things like I do in Bordeaux. In the first place, we just arrived super soon to reach a good spot for the show and that's how it begun, but I'm going to explain the whole day in my own meet and greet topic ^^.

If not, then there is always next time. Although I might take a sign saying "Corey, tell everyone they have 'lost the game' on microphone"... Good idea? >.>

I have the same dream, I'd die to meet Corey or Jim, but most of you guys are from the US - you have at least a chance to go to a SS show, but Im from Slovakia, Europe ! If I were from the US I would go to Des Moines and walk around the town until I meet someone from SS or Slipknot no matter how long it'd takeDGod, my life sucks :D
