First of all, just to make sure you read a specific comment, here's the link (http://www.stonesour.com/users/179256-rodrigoac). I didn't read all them, but this one says pretty much of what I came here to say. I think his (Rodrigoac) words will make you happy, so check out when you can. And no, I'm not his friend.
So, Rock in Rio... what a f*cking amazing concert! Man, I am one of those who knew the band before that day, but -F*CK!- the way you (Corey) lead the concert and put us all to jump or scream (almost) made the fact of people that knew about the band only that time useless. Seriously, what a vibe, what an energy. There I was singing and jumping and going crazy, but that didn't make of me the person who had more fun. Everybody, even the ones who never heard of you before, had smiles on their faces. And the rain just made it more epic.
The band of my life is the Chili Peppers and I was there to see them live for the first time because the last time they came I was only 11-years-old, so my mom said I was too young to go alone to their concert (now I know she's right). So, after ten years, and I don't know, I can blame the pain on my ankles, the tiredness, whatever, but man, the Stone Sour concert really made my day. The Peppers was there, but not the energy I felt while you all were on stage.
I'm not from Rio, I live in a state next to, so I spent a lot of my money to get there. And my birthday was on the next thursday (you played on a saturday). Said that, I just want you to know that I'm now completely broke, but your concert have a lot of the credits for making that day the most amazing one of my life.
Here's the greatest "thank you" I've ever said.

@Rodrigoac: That's because people are just lazy and don't look for new bands.....they rather just sit and wait to see what the media will present to them next.....Stone Sour was already announced for months before Rock In Rio started and people just didn't care to get to know them before the show.....now they're saying it was a great show and the band is awsome.....why didn't they listen to the songs before the show and enjoyed it properly, the way fans like myself did?? I was singing all the songs and people around me were looking at me as if they were thinking: "Why is this guy singing all the songs?? This band is supposed to be completely unknown"..........that just pissed me off..............

I totally agree with tha last comment of Rodrigoac. Before watching the concert I thought a small number of fans could be present, BUT the complet band played very well, in particularly the great vocal, got everybody in a different mood after beginnig. Corey's voice is amazing, it's strong and he knows when to be strong and to stop starting with a different tone. Oh! The drums, I love a good heavy beat. And the guitarists...Wow...hahaha I knew Stone Sour almost three years ago and I really enjoyed the lyrics. Is a kind of creativity that you don't see too much out there. I think.
But, hey, you were one of the best bands in Rock in Rio, the best of your day. Congratulations!!!!!!!!
I'm from Rio too, just for you to know.
If you see something written wrong in the text, sorry about that...I haven't training my english...

Well, first of all, I just would like to say my English sucks... I'm from Rio, and people around here talks portuguese. I was not a good student in my english course... I'm here to congrats the band about the great performance you did in Rock in Rio. Unfortunately the biggest part of the crowd (90%, maybe) had never heard about you. Even in this point, I can say you made one of the best shows in Rock in Rio. Almost all newspapers and news websites of Brazil had positive views of your performance in Rio. All the band is great..., really But I have to do a special mention here. Corey Taylor, you're the best contemporary singer in this fucking planet!!! And not only this, I have to congrats you about your way of conduct the concert. Like I told, even 90% never heard about you, you put all of us madness outside. The band interacts with the crowd... Please, never stop this special way of play music in live performance. Few bands can do it. I know the music market controls what place you'll play, but please, try to find some time to play here again. Surely you'll have fans enough to see you. Thanks for the respect of the band. You came here, played the concert on time, and no matter how rained that day, you did what you know in a perfect way... Guns n Roses came here in october 2, made us wait almost two hours in a fuck rainy and cold night to play a terrible concert. You deserve everything you're winning in your career, because you respect the crowd, and do the best. Once of all, you're in my personal top four in Rock in Rio: stone sour, slipknot, system of a down and metallica. YOU RULE... Congrats

You were just great! I loved the show. Here in Brazil, the band is not highly publicized, but certainly after the excellent show of Rock in Rio, you have won many fans, including me! Corey, do not forget the promise you made to return to Brazil! I'm already loving you!
