i noticed wen i was in the london gig jim was wering a blk band around 3 fingers, and now i have noticed it in pritty much every pic off this tour they just done, i swear he doesnt were it in slipknot. does he?
does anyone know why he would be wering that on his hand?

haha cool. i thought it was somthing wired coz the dude out matalica does it with tape. i never got y he did that.
but thats such a cool reson there was me and my mate talking about it the other night coming up with all these things it could be for. AND ITS FOR ...... tying bk his hair. wicked thanks jojo its bin buging me since thursday

When I first noticed James' habit of keeping a hair tie on his fingers several years ago, it only registered because I keep one with me at all times, too--except on my wrist, like a bracelet. I remembered thinking it was adorable that his hands and wrists are too large for him to do that, and so it goes no father than 3 of his fingers. I naiveley wondered if it bothered him while he was playing. (Evidently not.) The great dane who thinks he's a lap dog.... Laughing

And it's perfectly valid for someone to ask about something they thought might be part of his equipment, even if they were mistaken. People ask about his strings, plectrums, cabinets, pedals, etc, all the time. Don't bother getting upset, unless someone starts posting photos of his house. Just click on the next thread if this one bothers you.
