Well, I'm finally back home again from the show yesterday.
Which was awesome ofcourse, that goes without saying.
Saw them in June this year in the Melkweg in Amsterdam and they definetly have a way better opening act with Hell Yeah.
I actually wanted to go to Hell yeah anyway, so a show combined with Stone Sour was a nice little present :)
Hell Yeah did really good opening up, you could hear that hardly anyone really knew ehm but nonetheless there were lots of positive words afterwards. His microphone was a bit too low though.
From what I remember they played
matter of time
goddamn
you wouldn't know
cowboy's way
alcahaulin ass
hell yeah
and some other stuff.
Like I said, they performed really good altough their interaction with the crowd was a bit cooky cut out basic stuff, we love to be here, we love you, honored etc
Stone Sour opened up really really sweet. Big white screen, lots of Audio secrecy S signs floating around and a starwars tune banging through the speakers, which was pretty funny.
I got a picture of the complete setlist with the tunings, roadie gave it to a guy next to me
so I got the whole setlist
Lots of audio secrecy stuff which was awesome, cause if you'd been to the melkweg show they played more of the stone sour self titled and come what ever may album. So those two shows together made it a sweet all including package.
Yesterday they played
Mission Statement
Reborn
Made of Scars
Say you'll haunt me
Unfinished
Let's be honest
Your God
Bother
Trough the Glass
Digital
Get Inside
The bitter end
Hell and consequences
30/30/150
Crowd was ok, the pit wasn't really impressive though. Corey was magnificent with the crowd, yet I must say that shawn and Jim really amused me as well. didn't really see much of Roy, he kinda dissapeared behind his huge set and Josh was at the other side of the stage, so didn't see much of him either. They said they'd be back again next year, so I'm looking forward to that. Performances like this are always worth coming back to :)
